Thanks for the correction. I should have known that since it's also probably my favorite of the Guest films I've seen. I haven't see HELL IS A CITY. Guest certainly deserves some attention as a better than average craftsman (although DAY THE EARTH CAUGHT FIRE, my personal favourite amongst his works, was not in fact made for Hammer). Of his Hammer thrillers I would probably single out HELL IS A CITY - I once went to a screening attended by Guest and to everyone's great confusion they showed two reels in the wrong order!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
